Javier Alejandre, designer from Madrid, starts his career as a “children´s video game drawer” in the Cmy Multimedia studies at the age of 18. As this job was on a digital medium,he starts experiencing in these kind of media the expressive possibilities they offer, getting to develop digital art projects, showing his works in several exhibition halls from Madrid and belonging to the Catarsis Gallery, with which he shows his work in Estampa ’05.

Eager to jump into the tridimensional design world, he joins the Interior Design School of Madrid.(Arte4), where he focuses all of his efforts in this discipline and becomes a spectator in the art world. To complete his education and extend his field of action, he studies Industrial Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design. During his vocational training years, he also works and participates strongly

in extra-academic projects with favourable results like the ones who can be seen in this webpage (Cortez loves Spain, Cocktail,etc.).

In 2008 he travels to Mexico for half a year, where he learns to work with ceramics with Don Chucho, a great master. In 2009 he exhibits the lamp ChromoSoma in the “Zona Tortona del Salone del Mobile di Milano” together with the IED. At 2010 is selected at the Spanish National Design Awards INJUVE.
