J&B The Pueblo Project

Saying “no” to gratuitous “cool” and superficial “posh”, we take its most positive part, and from there, we look for a new concept of party based on the most authentic ones… The Parties of the Pueblo! (village parties).

“Rural-chic Party” is the found concept, by analyzing the most traditional elements like the opening speech, the “peñas”, the orquest, the dance,etc.,and adding up the up-to-date elements. On this way, the shirts of each “peña” are made by a fashion designer and the barbecues and “churros”, with touches of nouvelle cuisin. In the dance, concepts like “Diamond Band” are merged with the most popular and modern dj´s. The banderoles are also transformed from being plastic flags to being hanging art objects.

First prize got by the team consisted by Leyre Valiente, Helga Ragnheiður Jósepsdóttir, Valentín Garal and Javier Alejandre.
